Mine was a straight fit on 2005 v70 t5. Just followed the instructions that came with it.
Very pleased with fit and the finish of unit

You may need to trim the outer edges with tinsnips ( the edges where the 4 locating holes are in pic)not much, just a few mill. Other than that it's a straight fit and you can still keep aircon rad...

I think unless it's burning/leaking loads of oil nothing to worry about. 10W/40 and 15W/40 is the same viscosity anyway when the engine is hot
