according to the chart i've got there is a 8mph difference in 1st, upto a 20mph difference in 5th between the M56L & M56H so yeh quite noticable

there will be an advantage because of the straight line air-flow, but i doubt you'll actually notice it (but all the little things add up as well)

just looking again, although capacity is 5.8 litres if you completely drain the oil in the system the total capacity is actually 6.7 litres in total... take a look at this screen shot to see...
