I was discussing this with Kings Motors the other week, the only Volvo thing that will work with your roof is a Volvo System Tester. A VCT 2000 or Dice won't do it.
If you want a hand to fit them then we can organise a day for you to come over?
Telford. I have anti squeal shims that you can fit and the DS2500 pads have loads of wear left.
I went for V50 T5 items myself, they don't fit the P80 cars without different carriers though (carriers I got from AshDVS on here)....OE Volvo stuff apart from that
Volvo ones are very popular
I am in the process of swapping mine off for a BBK so you can have them for 30 quid & I will include the goodridge lines.
I got one from Eurocarparts, was only about £60 service exchange I.i.r.c.
Tbh I wouldn't really like to cane it .its more for cruising along a country road
The T5 is fast . The C70 is just a nice motor to drive.
It deffo needs a reversing camera though the tail is so...
Get in touch with sj conversions he's on here so may see this if not search on fb. He's in Bangor and is completely overhauling my halogens and putting in a hid kit and uprating the projectors so...
Well, I am. It's my job :haha:
Not in automotive industry unfortunately. I'm trying to find a good alternative to my H1 bulbs which are totally dung in my 850.
I have used technobots before, cheap and reliable
Nope, the beam pattern will be wrong unless the HID arc is in exactly the same place as the filament of a normal bulb. Also, due to the nature of the light produced, there will be more glare even if...
On my V70's fob, one of the little plastic lugs has broken off that holds the battery in place correctly, so I have to put a piece of cardboard in to get a proper contact.
Have you tried the fob...
I had a similar problem on my V70 with bulbs blowing.
The connector had disintigrated so I just put the spades directly onto the new bulb. sorted
Well, my Halfords bulb has been in...
What Harvey says plus...Remove said bulbs and switch on the lights with the engine running. Now check the voltage at the connector with the engine running and check its not over 15v at high tick...
Nice one dude, I'll try re-soldering the keyfob.
Any idea how much a replacement would be from the local stealer?
Battery clamps tight ?, do the light flicker when you rev the engine front idle if so could be the alternator or battery fault.
Some Volvo just like to eat/blow bulbs.
The blown bulbs do the pins...
Up until we sold our C70 T5 a few months back we ran winter tyres every winter and it transformed the car. Up until that point we started using them we had to leave the car on 4 separate occasions as...
Thats what i'll be doing, two sets. One with normal, for the majority of the year, and the others with some sort of all season/weather tyres for the dodgy months.
From what i've read, the Michelin...
I'll be going for all season tyres because, although not as good in snow and ice, they offer better grip in cold but dry, wet, damp conditions.
This is because where i live we have very little...
I use 225/45/17 Rock stone ice plus. They have been a great tire over the last two years and excellent in snow

You could measure the diameter of the holes on the lock stops and just get some bolts with nuts that fit?
