Without the ostrich you need 13v+ to write to the flash, in most cases people need either a) a battery charger to boost your power to flash or b) to remove the ecu every time and put on an external...
launch control is controlled via the speed sensor on the car, ..... you set the rpm etc and the speed before launch control releases.
I cant run it on my build due to not having an abs/speed...

all I did was place a connector in the empty hole @B36 and ran it up to the obd socket directly, thinking about it I could have just moved the pin from B5 to B36.

There is no need to actually bridge anything in the ecu to get it to do what you need, it's a simple process of writing the file over obd2 socket via the free software . the software is on the link>...
The ecu is running as normal. you are not mapping "on the fly" simply logging the ecu and then adjusting afterwards :)
