If you get a price from Rufe make sure you're sitting down when he tells you LOL
They go for under £100 a set usually secondhand. I'd be asking around on all the forums for someone who has already...
That explains a lot, always helpful to mention that as most of us will assume we're talking about a T5.
Blues were fitted to all ME7 T5's, ask around the forums, Readview, Chad etc.
Is this a T5?
Have you actually checked the injector colour?
Yes, unless they've been changed before, it'll have 398cc blues.
Volvo being a pain made all the pipe outlets a different size, your best bet is to remove a pipe at a time & measure up what you need to replace it
i think your only bet is to make your own using silicone joints, i believe the OEM ME7 has a few sensors mounted into some of the pipes so not sure how easy it will be
you can swop the exhaust housings on the turbo to do the same thing
I ran an unmapped 19T on my silver C70 for a little while before tuning. Whilst you don't see the power I very much doubt you will have any issues. I run the original blue injectors on mine and have...
Quick answer....NO.....it wont per say go bang, but a 19T will need larger injectors for a start and therefore a remap....welcome to the expensive world of upgrading :(
stick with a 16T and get it to breathe as tim says, sort out the downpipe (3"), port the exhaust manifold, and get a decent map that can be upgraded as you mod further, you like speed...mod it right...
theres brand new 19t turbos on ebay for £510 delivered...
Best advice would be to look for a nearly new or new 19T. Very capable turbo - not much more laggy than the 16T and properly mapped will make your car go like stink. Bonus also is that they are...
If you C70 is a T5 it will have a 16T with an angled flange that can give great power and performance with the right hardware and map. The key is to get it to breath better, your exhaust will be a...
Hello all i did in my 96 850 was buy the gauge wiring and pressure sender and then a sandwich plate which goes between the sump and the oil filter
Rufe = http://www.vpcuk.org/forums/member.php?u=544
Why buy a BCS from IPD when you can get an S60r one from Rufe for £40. I have a phase 2 T5 one on my 850 T5 and its brilliant.
10 ish and only dropping slightly at redline from what ive read over the past year
what Baj said! LOL!! :)
Small flathead screwtop in the lower right of the headlight switch.
Turn it.
To say there was a problem is an understatement!
So much so, that if you book into your nearest Volvo Dealer they will clean the ETM and download an updated software free of charge (mileage has to...
I had exactly that same problem a few months ago, my service guy removed the wiring plugs and leads on the top of the engine, if you can see it, unplug it, gave them all a squirt with cleaner, put...
under the plug cover there are 2 or 3 earths
i advise you to clean those up and the bolts and washers and the earth that goes from the bulkhead to the back of the engine.
I noticed that the ME7...
