Its a relatively simple job, locate the plastic 'button' clips around the edges of the door card and press the centre of them in positively. Next use a thin & wide flat blade screwdriver or similar...
Yes the CV joint obscures the wheel bearing bolts, so the driveshaft has to come out first.
And yes I did remove the caliper completely but only undid the caliper bracket bolts as there is no need...
when i had the 280mm brakes i put some drilled and grooved discs on from ebay a pfirm called motorsport fabrications and i cannot falt them and couldnt over heat them and i always use genuine volvo...
Most people say that Genuine OEM ones are as good, if not better, than any of the grooved/drilled aftermarket ones of same size/caliper.
The 302's would fit under Perfo's, just the same as std V70...
if ur keeping ur 16s then u cn fit any aftermarket brakes of the standard size,
drilled,grooved etc etc.
it all depends how much you want to spend.....
each brake varies in working when cold or...

I think looking at the pics that you've gotten slightly confused by the fitting kit. In the kit there where two flat metal pieces, I think you've put them under the bracket and attached them using...

Shocks and springs first, if you are going for springs you might as well get new shocks put in while you are there. Bilstein Sport shocks or a good branded replacement shock build for lowering...
Lowering springs I would say first. Kilen lowering kit part number 968428. This will be 40mm lower. There about £90.00 plus vat from most motor factors.

yeh deffo 8mm bolts careful you don't drop the spanner down the D pillar like my nephew did, it takes a while to get at em..... :doh:

remove the covers,then inside you will see nuts to remove the light units.
cant remember if they are 8mm nuts or 10mm.think its 8mm lol.
careful as you remove them cos the estate light units...
