In all fairness, pad choice will be the biggest factor on how well the brakes perform.

The larger caliper/pistons/clamping force/etc will only really come into it's own when being pushed very hard.

Not necessarily mate. If both brakes have the power to lock the wheels then there won't be much in it. Where the larger brake setup will come into its own will be through superior heat dissipation...

I know it's not going to be as quick as a T5 or an R (yet), but as graeme said it is a beast on the road with all the low down torque, and it has surprised/ embarrassed a few cars :)

The only way that car is going to inject diesel is if the fuel pressure sensor on the end of the fuel rails see's 280-300 bar. If it doesn't, then the ECU will not switch the injectors, the Air lock...
