Mine has been fine after the software update and flush I did within three months of ownership. That was nearly 30,000 miles ago, almost 2 years. No problems at all, and I'm now upto 102,000 miles.

Take out the bulb and blow warm air into the housing with a hairdryer until it's gone, that's always worked for me with cars that have had condensation in lamps.
Diseasals are somewhat different with OBDII support though.
You can get LED lamps for the fogs.... Google it or
look on eBay.
I have them in mine (LED sidelights) and don't get any warnings in the info center...
I don't think the side lights a monitored thus won't throw a warning light.
