Does sound like it's either a knackered ignition switch or a faulty dimmer switch, next time it does it try turning the key back just a fraction, failing that give the dimmer a wiggle.

Sounds like you have a short somewhere. if it was only 1 bulb doing it. id say it was a lose bulb in its holder but if teh whole lot age doing it.. sounds like maybe you have a short somewhere. Or...
This is an ignition barrel thing if I remember right. Slight wear causes a loss in connection on the multiswitch attached at the back.
There is also the fact that there is no AFR or Boost plot, so really beyond my dicks bigger than your dick plots, it doesn't give any useable infomation
Seems to be the way im afraid and to be honest i dont think the amount of notice helps. The only reason im doing an xmas meet this year is for a few people that i see on a regular basis but anyone...
personally i'd run a longer pipe in & plumb the boost gauge into the a spare outlet on the vac tree (connected to the inlet manifold under the throttle wheel cover)
as for wiring i assume you mean...

I have never been able to get any of my T5's to run more than 12psi with an MBC without hitting the overboost cutoff protection at SOME stage.
I currently have one fitted and yes, I can wind it...
Like you have geet two big fat birds in back mon!!!!
had mine up to spikes of 1.4bar with no remap using r-spec mbc and somehow never hit the fuel cut but iv now got it running at a steady 1 bar to be safe now
Just make sure you set this in 4th or 5th gear if not the boost tends to ceep in high gears so you might hit the cut.
13psi is considered to be safe on a standard ECU
Just don't like the look of those - such a significant part of the handling it isn't worth economising.
R-Spec ones screw down to increase and anti-clockwise to decrease mate. When you plumb it in make sure it's backed right off then turn clockwise in 1/4 turn increments till you've got it the way you...
They are half the price of pattern ones from my tame motor factor ....and they do look plastic!! Wouldn't be me matey....:shifty:
Hmmm not sure
Ive never seen a plastic drop link for an 850, ive seen them on vauxhalls and the like and they seem to be ok.
Id get a lot of info on these before buying or fitting ;)...
And I'm going to scream and scream and throw my rattle out of my pram. And if that doesn't work am going to sit in the corner and sulk and make rude noises.

Got one on mine, had no problems (except with the turbo refurb, but its not related), good service, I bought the wrong one, and they sent me out a new one same day.

Hi Johnny,I've got one on mine. Quick delivery and great service, think it was 2 days. Comes with vac pipe, instructions etc and very easy to fit. So easy infact, you could do it whilst eating a...
Yep, excellent mod for the money! Do it, you won't regret it :)
Loads of people run MBC's on the turbo engines. They are very simply to fit with basic tools (screwdriver, knife etc) and make a significant difference to performance.
Ideally you would want...
