If you don't have your own method (or access) to a code reader that works with your car you are probably best leaving the job to the garage as simply changing the CPS won't clear the fault or turn...

I cleared the codes on Mr Shifters pre-ME7 S70 (lambda light etc) with the torque app :)

on this model i am not sure a generic obdII reader would work as it is the first version of OBDII. the generic ones only work properly with cars after 2001 ish.

You need to read the codes first, a generic code reader should give you a good idea of what's going on.
