They certainly look decent. Much cheaper than the £500 volvo charge.
nice looking job, that's a great price.
Aww Al I really like the V40. I think the interior is in a different league from a focus but the boot is comical
The DPFs need changed at approx 100k as they do stop working, fault lights come on ,it not to bad now as it's not volvo only parts any more.
Ps don't over fill the engine oil max is 3/4 on dipstick....
Dont be daft Al I was only making harvey aware the his sonice is a bit of a tart
Just glad i fitted new new loom as you say it was damaged twice, but happy its done.
Graham I did say at the time to Alistair I can believe you were selling the car.
Really means.....
I hate you and wish I'd never sold you my car !
No it was one of the little options boxes that needed to be ticked which cost a cool, £2500 ish which got you a sat nav,tv tuner, phone & On Call system.
Ive never even found the need for it, MRG told me its an expensive fix for basically no reward
I think it just shuts off the outside air flap same as manual button.
I would guess the default is flap open.
Have you had codes checked yet.
Default on P2 windows auto down & heated seats...
i believe the later ones that are a moulded housing are scheduled with the cambelt change, but often missed by non volvo specialists.
i wouldnt think it is worth fitting a secondhand 'stat ? -...
Jardon still has a stat for sale I think.

might be worth trying ford for the same part, might be a lot cheaper.
As you look at the back of the car, the loom runs through the left hand hinge. The loom tends not to fray in the tailgate, but in the roof void where the loom comes through.
Pry the boot light out...
Al.
removing the door cards is very easy on your car. You won't break anything unless your a buffoon!! Just take your time. There is a good how to on You tube for the P2.
Regards the rear...

have you checked there's no holes in the battery, and if you look in boot can you see if any electricity is leaking into spare wheel well :D
sure i only paid about £30 to replace it, i did try stripping it to clean but broke the casing doing so. When i replaced it the first time it only lasted a few months as the master cylinder was...
I've also had the cruise display fail to illuminate and it was due to the brake position sensor. It would randomly fail to engage every week or so until I took the brake postion connector off and...
If it's got fluid on, that would be coming from the master cylinder, as the slave cylinder is inside the bell housing.
Ditto! Clutch pedal position sensor would be my bet... Common fail... About £40 and 10 mins to change over although you need to be a bit of a contortionist to be able to reach it at the top of the...
When mine played up, the code reader said "clutch position sensor circuit" and once cleared, it worked (happened a few times) BUT... this was while my D.I.M. was being a total tool and it hasn't done...
