ive only ever seen the in the middle of the spring...
the shocks is your problem they are too soft on damping and rebound not the springs, i thought the same until i changed to koni yellow setup and its a completly different ride.
Faulkner springs are very good.
They won't advise you on what you need, so you need to tell them.
If you take a spring to them, they can pretty much do what ever you like.
:)
I don;t think the rear struts take up much room on the estates - Acidic Davey has a picture of his in the his AWD thread
That is odd about the same spring rates - more weight over the back you...
That will be about the same as Nealevo, so should be good for 325bhp
Good thought, don;t know about that, but the part numbers are different on the Quaife website so I would check b4 buying

Oh, forgot to say, if you do go for the M59 I’d be interested in the knackered M56 + o/s driveshaft :) got a curly wurly here & willing to part ex

GJ has only one mate & he is sending it down free gratis due to my services to the 480 Club...so it felt a bit cheeky to ask for another...soz
Next mod on the R then! Very useful thread this has...
I'd have loved a gripper for mine but I've had to go for another M59 instead, maybe in the future..
It's the torque that kills them, can be easily done with hard road driving, if you have the funds then quaife/gripper is the only reliable way forward.

It is possible to reduce the torque steer, by fitting a damper to the front end of the engine back to the o/s strut top, not done this myself, but I do know of 3 members on here that have and heard...
m59's give way better corner grip than an m56 but you will need the driveshaft to do with the box
In my experience with barry exhausts in the past, all the really loud low RPM issues was due to it blowing slightly somewhere, When I had saxslow, we fitted a decat and eventually a backbox making it...

The focus box requires more than swearing, I've fitted 4 with rob, but well worth it, makes more difference than you'd expect.
Yeah, Focus ST 'box will fit with a bit of swearing. Nice conversion that.
Have to agree about the N/A cams. I've got them in mine and they make a nice little mod.
Nice and torquey off boost too,...
They are fully adjustable, they are not too bumpy but it doesn't bother me if it is as they made the handling so much better.
I actually have them and the calipers late c70, is easiest as there is only one type, all the others st,s40 etc have multiple types of calipers and hangers as they do 305mm etc
I'm a big fan of NightBreaker Plus/Unlimited bulbs - great brightness and decent life too. The Plus seem to last longer mind you - never had one of those blow, but the Unlimited seem to last 18...
