My 855 runs a fan from a v70 2.0l 1998 , don't remember having any issues fitting it.

An ME7 V70 one won't fit but one from a 4.4 V70 will fit either a OBD1 or 2 850. The OBD1 850 was slightly different but interchangeable.

I've got a few manual ones wally 140,000 is the lowest mileage tho

I'm going to use a C70 box but needs converting to external slave, or you can change yours to internal slave

either of those (C70 or V70) will fit, but as your 850 is pre-ME7 it'll be external slave cylinder while anything after 98/99 will be internal

i`m pretty sure the P1 V70 gearbox will fit but not sure about the C70 box

So its either the sensor or the float/magnet is stuck in both the tanks. If you shake the old tank, you should be able to hear it rattling.

AFAIK when the coolant level drops the sensor is activated, so if you unplug the level sensor the light should go out. If it doesn't then it would point to a wiring problem/short

Sounds to me if it still isn't bled through properly. Clutch slaves can be an absolute nightmare to bleed. It's just taken me half a day to get a decent pedal on a BMW 320d with an external slave,...

If it all worked fine before its pointless changing the linkage as obviously some this has gone wrong since the work was carried out make sure the linkage is connected to the brackets correctly also...

The 850 is a external slave and the V70 is a internal slave.
The reason for the internal slave is to make the pedal lighter.
I reused my internal slave because putting it back to external slave...

If you have problems putting the car in reverse with the engine off then that pionts towards the linkage/linkage bushes.

If it`s been done at at indy garage, they probably haven`t done this procedure.

I`m running a 850R clutch with a V70 internal slave and have had no problems.

Only the forward gears have syncro`s so reverse can sometimes be difficult to engage.

Poly arb bushes are pretty cheap and I expect Rufe can give you a good price on subframe bushes.
