Immobilizer sends a pulsed signal to the ecu to wake.... not entirely sure how it allows the car to fire...

Off the top of my head you will need
engine
ecu
loom & probably fusebox
turbo & pipework
intercooler
intake system
maf maybe the same?
exhaust system (probably complete)
Timing might need adjusted! We bought one off ebay that someone had fitted a manual glow plug system to solve exactly the issue you describe.... i adjusted the timing and removed all the additional...
I think what pete said... the smaller older engine is the better one afaik
I think they use fenix 5.1 engine management which isn't as user friendly!

tracs is traction control, some cars had it & some didn't
you will most likely have a tracs switch on the dashboard if you have it, other places to look if it has ever been fitted is on the brake...
I have had a few problems in the past with these... one think I have found to make sure of is the clips that hold the shoes to the back plate have a habit of bending slightly so make sure they hold...
if you have 4.4 then i would assume vol-fcr can reset the service light....
assuming it can I have vol-fcr & am not a million miles away ;)
its an evap valve & they can cause intermittent starting issues....

try its a switch to turn off the parking sensors when towing

also check the cap itself.....
water can also be lost as the car cools down if a jubilee clip is not tight enough as the diferent parts expand/contract diferently
