update................
where to start?
A weekend at Donington Park:)
What a track!! so nice to drive a track I've not been to before.
arrived about 9:30 Friday morning, straight into driver...
well the new engine is in and running!!!! :)
but i have had enough for now, will tidy up later...................
big thanks again go to T5 Stealth!! top bloke!! :B_thumb:
nice one, well done Sam (& teaboy Johnny lol)
can't wait till you get it on the track & see what you think to the new mods
Maximum respect to you Johnny!
Guess I best bring my helmet ;)
Now for the its alive dance... :funkybana
Nice progress... Must confess for looks and performance I am sure the airbox is the better option it's just I am a sucker for noise so still opt for the cone filter... ;)
Nice to see an update :) Bay looks tidy and the new filter looks good. I do enjoy the noise from the cone although Mrs. MRP says it sounds "Broken" (hence the quote on my sig).
Engine bay is looking lovely and clean Sam, a familiar strut brace I see there too!
So the BIG question, how did you find the RIP kit?

:hihi:
atleast it looks nice
As some of you may remember after my mishap with the old 854 T5-R which ended rather badly I borrowed a rather nice Red 850R Saloon from Mr Smithness for a month or so.
Well ever since turning...
ok........................
phone call just came in...........
they have pulled it, but......
its not 100%. to get it 100% would require a new chassis leg or a new chassis.
we are talking...
Stunning! Keep up the good work :)
Yes mate, stripped as far as possible to still allow it to sail through an MOT.
Cheers for that Johnny, just need to find a second pair of hands... Im itching to get them fitted already!
...
are you having a laugh, nothing more to cut. Someone's gone & welded scaffolding bar inside it man, do you know how heavy that is? lol
Nooooooooooooooo!
you can keep Mr Grinder at home, nothing more to cut off my car! honest!
lol
i'll bring Mr Angle Grinder & my pop-rivet gun, we'll soon get that subframe to fit lol
check it out....the Brands home page,
just scroll down a bit:)

must say...the car is looking very smart indeed!
Thats coming along nicely, is a real credit to you.
Sam i know he's got lots of bits spare that'll fit on your car, but i think it was a bit nasty of him to force you to say that lol
looking good Sam, needs the R spoiler & eyebrows now. Must say your a brave man.............................................................................................................for letting...
Had quite a productive day, aside from a couple of minor house duties, I was able to crack on quite early with the claying and polishing of the car. Since I bought the car I have only clayed it once...
