    Keep a eye out on ebay for a BMW 540i MAF

    All you need is the housing, just use the 850 sensor. It max flow is 1603 cfm compared to the 850 which flows 826 cfm

    That`s what I`m running :)

    To answer you original question....checked mine when I did the PCV (I had the timing covers off to clean them) and mine was as tight as a Nuns chaff!! and I don't have any running issues. :)
