If.it's not on top of the gearbox front of the engine bay then it's internal and your in the ££££ sorry gearbox off job big headache
I've run on the smaller wheel with no problems for years.
throttle response will be just a little better :)
I don't see why it should not fit, as you say your turbo is larger, you may need a different reducer/adaptor for that bit, easily available from someone like Ash silicone hoses

If you on about the one in the turbo intake pipe then just twist slightly the work it out,its got a rubber bottom to it so seems tight but does come out.
mine was the same so i cut it to make it fit it seems that the square one can't be bought i inquired from the seller about it and he stated is cut it
