You'd be surprised how many diesel Volvo's we get in for warranty issues such as the EGR and cooler, luckily you do not have to pay for it as they are not cheap!
Volvo's are not what they used to be.

Have you looked at S70/V70 speakers as the ones in mine R are really good, as good as the brand new Volvo's I drive at work. Failing that the C70 are said to have good speakers.
I had them on my 190bhp 205 DT and they weren't good at holding the power down to be honest but they were 175's.
I am thinking of some 215 45 17 Nankang NS2-R's for mine ;)

looks lovely. How do you find the tires? I have them on the rear of mine but they are pretty cracked so cannot really call a judgment.
Good time that.
When I took my R, my first ever run ever up a strip and I got 14.92, with a leaky IC and passenger. I need to get practicing.
Did you use the NOS?
You nutter!
Interesting to see another S70R thread though. I think I'm going back to the OEM with mine now apart from a few subtle mods.
How does the NOS feel then?
Would it not be a lot cheaper to just get it re-built?
Yeah, I'd say around that kinda power :)

Yeah he's a good guy and sits must of the work as a charity for people. Plus he understands people who may be on a budget and isn't like the IPD guys who get everything new.
Inner tie rod by the sounds of it. But yes it sounds like what you were saying.
There is a good guide on youtube if you search for inner tie rod 850 from a guy under the name of RobertDIY
Wow. Fair play to you sir.
I have 3 Volvo's which is enough for me
Thanks Hemijusky, the car is a little run down so I may get in touch over the weekend!
Biff, I plan to use it as a daily so just maintaining the thing and enjoy it for what it is but I know that...
Went to see this last night! It's pretty rough round the edges but that doesn't bother me too much and the guy was a good laugh.
The turning circles are epic on these!

Good work. My brothers T5 had the same when I changed the PCV for him and he says it make such a difference to the car's running and idling.
Awesome pic!
What's makes the cars so different as they are essentially the same car underneath except a few little bits in standard form.
What you can do is get two sleeved 90 deg's of the correct diameter and a "glass pack" box which replaces the suit case. I'll discuss with you Sunday...
I've been blessed with my S70 Saffron due to the previous owners taking really good care of it so I havn't had a chance to really detail it.
If you want to get into detailing and not go too over...
James, you will probably receive a printed picture of it haha
Hello,
I thought it might be useful to sticky a thread of OEM straight fit upgrades across 850/x70 models.
I will make a start;
XC90 spring seats on 850/x90 models (thnaks Steve)- meant to...
I spoke with him on Sunday and he said that it failed on a brake line bulge and he will be fixing this week hopefully.
