It might be worth replacing the matrix hoses as well, mine just split with age. Pfv also do replacements in silicon fir £40 ish

I changed the matrix on our V70R, and although a bit fiddly not too difficult, however, there's no way I'd work on Dave's car, you need to wear your Sunday best just to get in it.

That's because Ethylene glycol is (amongst other things) a lubricant for your water pump. If you dip your finger in your coolant reservoir and rub your fingers together, you'll find its quite slimy. ...

Definitely sounds like the heater matrix Dave, our V70 did the same thing, the carpet wasn't wet to touch but when I pulled it back it was soggy underneath.

Well done Sir, beautiful V70R AWD you have and it used to be my computers desktop picture at least 12 years ago and is still looking stunning, we liked it so much we bought a silver 1999 V70R AWD...

I've seen this car in the flesh and its like new. Subtle mods like ap racing brakes behind the nebula wheels etc. The best looking R on any of the Volvo related forums in my opinion. :B_thumb:

They may have 'cleaning detergent additive' in them but ALL fuels from petrol pumps in the UK contain Silicone. It's this very silicone that Terraclean attacks aswell as the carbon build up but...
