Oh man I love those wheels!
Oh man I love those wheels!
Looking good under there Dean!
Right. It could be that the car had only just come inside from being driven in the pouring rain, or it could be something amiss. Not sure. Will have to wait til I can get it up on the ramps.
...
Ok so it's getting a new o/s/f lower wishbone bush and an o/s/f wheel bearing then im back on the road!!
Yeah fingers crossed. Other that that it drive superbly all the way here :-)
The law says nothing about driving to the nearest test station, just that you have to be booked in for an MOT :-)
That is one great looking car!
That looks sweet as! I can't wait to get one fitted on mine!
I also like the look of those slicks in the background of pic number three! Do you use those on the 850? I bet that's great fun.
Cheers Andy! You bet I am! I bought the car in Nov 2011 and have only done about 4,000 miles in it since then!
What a fantastic car! You've got it looking great, do you have much else planned??
Knowing that the engine has been rebuilt with forged rods etc gives me the peace of mind that it's going to last, it's going to be reliable and therefore I know that when I get it LPG'd it'll be good...
Sorry, what are JE pistons?
Yeah, after looking some more, i've come across these rods:...
I do like a green saloon T5R! Great choice!
Nitrogen: madness! The only car i've been in with it before was a '95 2.0 turbo Corsa and that was freaking insane!
Quite a good spec otherwise,...
Phwoar!
Sweeet!!
Great result man. I bet you're well happy!
Yeah, I really like that!
Fantastic news! This car in the wet felt absolutely great. I'll have to book a passenger ride once it's mapped! haha
Stribo, yup, that was me. Spent the day mainly complaining about how cold my feet were!
Haha, yeah, you were bang on. One morning looking at them and i'm completely hooked again.
Fantastic...
That brake disc picture looks quite dull compared to when we first saw it. It was taken on my camera that selected a long exposure (4 seconds) so the ambient light was a lot less than it looks in...
So what brought all this on? Simple; the Southern Rolling Road day at Power Engineering in Uxbridge on Saturday. Seeing all those sorted cars in one place reminded me that I really love this car. ...
Well then, four months has passed and what has happened?
Not a great deal actually. Emlyn and I (mainly him) replaced the brakes back in May 2013, and since then i've just forgotten about the car....
Such an awesome car!!
I just spotted this on DetailingWorld, and had to come and see if it was on here!
Fantastic progress you're making too, really giving it the TLC a car like this deserves...
Remember that your tyres are the only thing connecting your car to the road.
On my T5R I have Yokohama Para Spec 2s all round and they're absolutely brilliant.
Also, if you're able to get tyres...
