I'd stick with the 2.5" dp as going bigger can increase lag (the benefits are higher up the revs).
Bigger throttle body will help.
very true mate but you can get a t3 even better with a 2.5in exhaust housing.and they take alot bigger compressor housing too.lol.
You are indeed, Volvo state it takes 2.1 Litres fully drained. I have never managed to squeeze much more than 2 litres in however.

ok, mines sorted now. the 19T conversion is done BUT........they say its a straight swap. 100% is is NOT!! the core housing needs machining. the centre core has a 57mm recess to fit the 16t wheel...

If it's 1999 or later then it's programmed via the OBD2 diagostics port - no removal of the ECU is required.
Only the 1993-1998 models need the ECU removing.

Also forgot to mention if just running the standard t5's turbo there are remaps avaible and do make a good difference and give good tourque figures
the con-rods are the first thing to change internally, the weak link in the chain & made by Cadbury's
non-turbo GLT cams are the usual ones everyone goes for, but Piper make some for our engines
