yes the T5 DMF is the same as the T4 DMF in size etc

I have placed both next to each other and measured everything and they exactly the same, even the M66 version T5

They are essentially a heat shield. They also protect the disc to a certain degree from flying debri off the road and play a major part in stopping foriegn matter getting into your brake caliper....

I think it was 450 and ashok read the ECU while speaking to Marco MTE sweden. Then the file was sent by email to Marco. Then 10 min later new mapp was recieved that was written for my car by email....

Can I ask how much the remap was and was it mapped specifically to your car?

my t4 is a phase 2 and its been mapped by ashook and Don(MTE) and I've got standard turbo and injectors. It runs lovely on 18-19Psi and I use it daily:) and it's a Big difference then just turning up...

I would add on an unrelated note that the FK website is stupid as I accidentally pressed a button and cancelled my order ! Had to phone up Germany direct and ask them very politely to re-instate it...

Haven't fitted mine yet,but went out in the Judge's,his roads are terrible where he lives,so they should be ok for the London/Essex roads.

the greens from the s60/v70r are fastest flowing of the volvo injectors and a lot bigger than the reds. But the better option is the vxr injectors as these a bigger still, yet they can usually found...

Just read a great article on Ashoks 400+ bhp T4 in Practical Performance Car magazine. It's a great read and a good advert for Volvo tuning in general. Sell your T5's boys, T4's are the dogs danglies...

If its been looked after then the 1948cc engine should be fine with a remap, exhaust, induction. Its when they are taken further that causes problems.
