egr, intercooler and pipework, wishbones are the common for the d5
Check the boost pressure sensor, might be a bit dodgy.
or the tcv is plumbed in backwards.

Sadly this is what happens when a motor is full of aftermarket parts!
You can never catch up.........the crap parts wear out quicker than one can save up for them.
Pay once ...fit once...fit...
the most likely thing to seize the calipers on if they were new is probably the rubber brake hoses. if they were not renewed and are still original what can happen is a flap of rubber inside the line...
If you do go for replacement calipers you may need to find out what actually caused them to seize on
Its a shame because this is how a car and a manufacturer can get a bad reputation. Hope you get it sorted
As Biff said, could be guage, or the temperature sender, much cheaper to change the sender before you change the engine.
Could be your gauge dude.
When I had my faulty clocks in they used to get a dodgy signal & fly up to half??

I used partsforvolvos for my bits, they came in at a good price I found. It will make a difference on mine, drove much smoother.
As said it's not that difficult.
And if you check their channel they have many Volvo tutorial videos

I used this Video for my 98 V70 R.
Took about an hour.
If it helps you, i have just done the PCV on my `97 V70 T5 with 162,000
It smoked very slightly on removal of the dipstick and there was oil leakage along the front flanges of the sump. There was...
does the oil level come back up if left over night as the PCV box can hold oil if the drain is blocked up,or send the oil back to the turbo inlet to get burnt in the engine.
If the PCV is blocked it...
Possibly, it could be pumping oil into the inlet and burning it off.
Worth removing the spark plug cover to see if any has gotten onto the head.
ME7 cars are easier to do as you don't need to take the inlet manifold off.
First, confirm that it's the PCV by going for a drive, pull over and with the engine running, pull the dipstick out. If...
That's the way, get your grinder out!! Lol
Dan just thought with your throttle sticking, have you cleaned it out along with the idle control valve? Also if the revs are staying high that can...
Dan, as said above you will struggle to get 310 without serious mods, I have 18t, 3"DP with race cat, full exhaust system, 3"TB, blue injectors and a turbo tuner ECU and I run 300bhp on a good day,...
If it were me mate I'd forget about figures & concentrate on the tuning. First port of call I'd go for a turbo, down pipe & exhaust. The exhaust wants to be 3" from the turbo back ideally. I...
Depends on how much you want to spend fella. You'll find that people on eBay etc will claim massive figures off a Map & such mods but it's utter bullocks.
Don't be confused by the map names either,...
310whp is going some, & doubt you'd get it from an 18t (even with a 19t your going to need alot of engine mods with it)
