Seeing as you've changed just about everything else, it would seem to point to the ARB bushes.
The way to tell if the manifold is cracked is to hold the manifold up by putting a screwdriver in one of the bolt holes and gently tap the manifold.
If it rings like a bell then its ok

I'd be more worried about the coagulated oil around the compressor.
That line on the manifold is a casting mark from the two halves of the mould.
A known place for a exhaust blow is between the head and the manifold.
That's the casting line mate. It's where the two halves of the die met.
It's more likely that the manifold nuts are a little loose.
Some people just get attached to their cars, so that they don't mind throwing cash at it, i don't see why it should bother anyone else. Anyone on here that is moddifing "just an old volvo" is doing...
