  1. hi dan yes i did use near every thing from the t5 volvo ,but i had to cut frames driveshafts,wishbones,cut gear cables,alter water pipes pipes for front cooling as engine in rear ,had to modify the complete brack system ,so theres a machanical hand brake for mot,all intercooler pipes modifyed and electric airscoop ,ull also have to use the rear of the volvo clocks otherwise ull have a speed sensor fault ,as well as modifying a stiffer rear suspention if its for the rear as its opsite way around,and do away with the steering rack ,power steering as well ,and make adaptors ,mounts as well,and other niggley things like rev cable,exhaust,matrix,wireing,,ps dann which caddy is it mk1,2,3 etc send me the post ,as anything i can help i can add as ive pics info too,reason i asked im on with a mk1 caddy as well ,but makeing a 4wd vr6 turbo joby

    Ay up mate,Ive seen/read alot about your T5 beetle & wanted some advice on a little project im doing.Ive decided to put a T5 in the back of a caddy pickup & just wondered when you did your Vdud did you use the complete volvo loom,ignition,chiped key etc,where did you get the cables for the gear linkage made,did you use the volvo subframe complete with suspension,hubs,brakes etc?? i no there's alot of Q's but id be happy for the advice,thanks Dan
