Morning, can I pick your brains please regarding these damm abs/tracs ecu's ? Mine has been soldered twice by Mas and he is saying he won't do it again and that I need a new one. Mine has the number 9162675 on it & I cannot find an identical one anywhere. One has appeared on Ebay from an 850 T5 that had abs/tracs but its number is 9140773. If I buy is it compatible with my car ?
Sorry to be a pain but I need to get this sorted once and for all, especially if Mas is intending to sell the car plus MOT due in Jan :-(
    Kind regards

    Hi Dave,
I am ever so tempted by a Volvo but its 50 miles away and so I'd really appreciate a second opinion before I travelled for a viewing. Would you kindly give it a glance if I sent you the web link, please? I also have a couple of extra photos from the vendor I could send you. It really ought to go without saying, but obviously no liability / responsibility attaches to you whatsoever.

    Hi Dave

Guess I can have my membership upgraded from "unofficial" to "official" now. I just bought a 2004 V70 T5 SE

Having tried a dodgy diesel V70 the day before I crumbled on my green ethic and thought "Sod it. Gimme the power!"

It should arrive next week after they MOT and tax it. It's lovely

Just need to rename it with my Camero plate and I'm away!

I'm sure we'll have a number of conversations about upgrades over the coming months... Got to hold it's own at the forthcoming Volvo convention in Scotland in October!!!

    Cheers mate!
