850 t5 cam belt change cost?

hi. i'm new to volvo and looking for info on how to look after my new t5 beast. I think the cambelt change may be long overdue from looking through its service records.

does anyone know approximate cost to do the job by volvo versus an independant garage?

Are there any reasonably priced volvo specialists near me, ie warwickshire.

got mine done at a local garage £90 supplied and fitted

unfortunatly the price will very depending where you go,
personally its not expensive to buy a belt,
approx £20.00,
labour wise its only a couple of hours to do,
but a couple of hours labour at a larger garage could be a lot of money,
averidge places down here in the south are £35 to £60 an hour,
some places even go up to £100 an hour,
who the hell would pay that hahaha,
i did my mates cam belt on his 850 for £40.00,
he was very happy

cambelt should be changed every 80k on a 850 t5/v70 p1 t5

I got quoted £120 to fit a new cam belt and tensioner at my local independent
