Gear Change

Hi all

I am having trouble with my gear change on my 2001 V70 t5. When I change down from 3rd to 2nd I have trouble finding the gate, I can’t seem to get the gear stick over enough for 1st or 2nd Then it seem ok for a while. Is it the clutch, the box or what do you think?

Could be the synchro starting to wear on 1st n 2nd, mine does similar n I've had it in the past on other cars...not 100% sure tho mate as I aint no engineer I'm afraid :frown:

This would make me think that its the gearbox oil. Surely a synchro would be a constant problem?

if it was the layshafts or any internals on the gearbox it would be like it all the time poss gear cables or as said oil
