hi i have finally got my t5 its a 95 850 estate which i was very pleased with for 10 mins .
i went to buy the car and was very pleased with it immaculate condition a full history ,the trouble started on the way home ,the car had just had a new turbo fitted a couple of days before and on the way there was a lot of smoke so i pulled over looked underneath the car which was covered in oilso i had to get the good old aa out who had to get me relayed home ,they told me they were to busy to take me so had to get another company to take me this was about 11 pm by now so the other truck arrived and the man says they had to swap trucks with another one ,so this other truck turns up with a freelander on ,they pulled up in front of my car raised the bed of the truck as they did this the freelander rolled off and smashed the front of my new baby there seemed to be nothing holding the land rover on .i was so tired i just wanted to get home which i finally did at 2 in the morning.the oil leak was fixed the next day was a o ring on the oil return from the turbo cost me a £10 to get done but got £100 from the garage i got it from .the front end is getting done at the end of the month.
anyway thanks for a great friendly site
sorry my hello is so long .

thanks wellsy.

Hi Wellsy and welcome to the forum :welcome:

What a disaster ... the worst possible introduction to T5 ownership :(

Hope you have more fun and less trouble with her in the future :)

Surely the smash is their fault and she will be shiny again I am sure. Rough deal with the oil return pipe - schoolboy mistake. T5 ownership is good - I promise you

:welcome: Hi BTW.

All will be well and I am sure with your new turbs that she will fly. Ideal time to get her RICA'd. Sue AA for emotional distress and use the money to go on holiday! :thewave:

Hey Welcome to the forum.

Jeeeezzz You had a run of bad luck for your first few hours of ownership!!!

Here's hoping it all looks up from here on! I do hope the AA are paying for the damage (and compensation of course!)

Let us know when she is back on the road!!!

Hi there sounds like you got off on a very unlucky footing into t5 ownership.
Hopefully you will soon be able to enjoy your new baby.
