Been looking round for a dizzy cap and rotor arm for the stage 0 tune up.
I keep being told that i can only get them from volvo. is this right ???
Also i have been quoted £29 for the cap and £20 both plus vat. I can't beleive they're so expensive !
Any advice people ?

Euro car parts do them, so do GSF, they cost around £60 for the cap and rotor arm.

Hi,

As a kit I can sell the Cap and rotor for £46.90 + VAT.

If this is any good give me a call or email.

These are Bosch parts.

I got some of these from euro car parts off the web,

BOSCH n/a 404660075 DISTRIBUTOR CAP 850/S70/V70/C70
£18.55

BREMI n/a 405660100 ROTOR ARM 850/S70/V70/V70
£6.50
SCANTECH n/a 405660105 ROTAR ARM 850/S70/V70/C70
£10.21

+VAT.

Turned up next day - mind you the rotor arm was busted so one phone call and they sent another gratis next day.

The rotor arm in the car was fine anyway.

Scared by the price of the ignition leads though.

BBT n/a 409660270 IGNITION LEAD SET 850/S/V/C70 20V COLOUR CODED GREY
£44.50

but hey had to go on.

Then the oil -------- O M G - let's hope it doesn't use too much.

Still what fun tinkering.

Cheers
