dragstrip air intake? question for VT mainly

do you think I would benefit from runing without an air filter and box and instead running heat reflective ducting from the maf and directly to the cold air intake on my inner wing therefore still having a closed intake (from engine bay heat) but without resitriction?
I am curious and it sounds right fruity without the filter :remybussi (sucky woooosh , pssst )

dont worry I know the risks, about sucking up stones etc. and I know the itg filter is performance and therefore less restrictive but every little helps?

Jamie, since you know the risks, there is only one way to find out. Try it! Try both setups on the day and see what the difference is.
