anyone please tell me where the volvo multiplayer should live on a 96 estate? mine was just placed inside the rhs rear lamp where the connectors came out from the floor panel. its not secured,has no brackets on it and jumps like a melonfarmer now its been lowered,thanks

It should be NS rear, on your left as you look in through the back of the car. It's sunken into the floor area between the wheel arch and the rear pillar. There's a hinged lid that covers the whole thing. All T5-R's and 850R's I've seen have had this.

Even though I don't use mine, as I have an MP3 head unit, it is mechanically fastened in some way and doesn't flop around.

Indeed it usually fits in a plastic moulding that sits in the side pocket near the N/S rear lamp.
