hmmm - not sure TBH. I usually like tha kind of thing, but there is something that isn't quite right. Maybe the wheels ? They look like prodrive wheels; are they ? It will do the job with the business though :D

As it appears to be work related did you claim money from the tax man for the conversion to it's BTCC look ?
:D

Rip the 850 racing off and put V70 on there instead :)

Theres something i like about it though!

Your going to get stopped by the police cause of that front numberplate.

cheers, wheels are Speedline, cheap and cheerful for the moment, missus is still driving the car until hers is fixed.

i was, and still am, thinking of going V70, still undecided, not been stopped by police yet, still waiting...lol...

That's a good job there, adequately bold! I do think some way down the line a change of wheels may be in order to really finish it off , just my humble oppinion tho!
As I am still very much in 2 minds as to wether or not I should gas up my beast you may well wish to PM me and do your best to convince me it's the way forward. I knew you were running a gassed Volvo but was totally unaware you were running an LPG conversion company!!! Mate, we need to talk as you can clearly offer me more advice and real time pro's and con's re Volvo than a lil 'ole company down here in deepest Devon :)

Without wanting to be too pedantic, should it not be "halve your fuel bills"?

instead of sending you PM, i'll start a new thread later, that way, everyone can have input, i'm sure there are people on here who have had, or own gas cars, and have things to say, weather good or bad, that way you will get the full picture.

Cant you just put ... after the bills and imply that by converting they will get half their fuel bills compared to before, and three dots are a cheap fix for now if you change your mind! (feed the dots around the wing)

I am with Murphy on this one. As a business concept - I think it is wicked. But then for me the business idea then detracts from the replica idea - if you see what I mean?

Firestorm ... ' halve' to be honest with you mate ....that looks ££££.............

HOT man ...the ££££££ , i love BTCC replicas and combining it with a business idea you have done it well ..

PS why would the police pull you for the plate ..seen worse and Alfas have them offset ( albeit to the right )

firestorm
Tuesday 11th April 2006, 21:11
cheers everyone, i understand you can not please everyone, but at least no one has said they hate it for no reason.

As for the plate, well it's different, something the police dont like, although the letters and spacing are all correct, i think this is why they are leaving me alone, i thought the plate would look better on the offside of the car, as if i put it on the other side, it would be hard for the police coming towards me to read, they may even think i have not got one and pull me.

I do still think i will get stopped by the police, hopefully by the friendly type, and have a chat, they are only doing a job after all, and i job i would not do for any amount of money.
