Hi all

and a quick intro - we recently (6 months ago) bought an auto 850 T5 estate, M reg, as the main car for my wife and our newborn to motor around in.

However, having tried to squeeze everything baby-wise into my A6 saloon its becoming more of a good idea to use the Volvo more!

It was my sisters' car from new, however despite that known history it's on 97k miles and the auto gearbox and suspension clearly need some attention in the next 6 months - the gearbox judders on taking up drive at any speed, and the suspension (while legal and not too worn) leans waaay tooooo much at the front for my liking to drive it often.. despite the T5 shove.

I'll be posting on the forums later as it seems to make some sense to fix these rather than swap the A6!

Im sure people here will be helpfull and full of good advice . 97k nearley run in.

There are some good independent dealers,parts supplies out there to keep your t5 in good order or modify if you fancy it.

Drove it today, ignoring the few issues you can certainly tell theres a lot right with it, the basic fundementals & layout of the car. Had an impreza a few years ago and I still recognise that turbo goodness:)
