My 19T has arrived today, on closer inspection, ive found a few small cracks inside the section of the turbo that attaches to the manifold. They dont look that deep. Can these be ported/polished out?

Turbo has apparently done 75k miles.

Dont touch the turbo, it will change the air flowing charicteristics (bad spelling) of it and then it wont work as efficently then I will beat you in my Nova!!!

LOL I can cycle faster than your nova. Top speed uphill 30mph (done with a large rotveiller (spelling)/bull dog trying to catch me up and eat me. Top speed down hill is 50mph :)

i wouldnt worry about them too much mate, ive fitted 4 "garrett TD04's " all of which had cracks in the turbine housing far far worse than yours.
the one fitted on my saab at the mo has cracks that look like the grand canyon which was fitted 2 years ago, has covered 30 k and still is giving me enough boost to hit the overboost fuel cut off protection system.
i think the condition of the seals and the amount of endfloat are far more important.
