Just had a bit of retail therapy at Halfords :), getting ready to change the Oil & filter tomorrow and was umming and ahhing about a Diagnostic unit. In the end I decided not to bother just yet -
Then, on the way home, the ABS warning light came on. "Not a problem", I thought, "mines a '95 so has a built in (albeit basic) diagnostic doo-dah".
Parked her up, opened the bonnet and looked at where the unit should be - not there! So, I checked up where the post '96 diagnostic port would be - sure enough, under the coin holder (in front of the handbrake) there's a grey 16 pin socket.
So now I need one to find out whats wrong, and will have to go back to Halfords to buy a Diagnostic box after all...typical eh?
