Just been to the main dealer and they have quoted £495 for a 78k service (timing belt included) on my T5 C70

This is a little more than i would like to pay :jaw:

Are there any decent Volvo independants in Scotland (Edinburgh would be best)?

Im not 100% if he is still there but i am sure there is a guy who specialises in volvo s in Balfron or around that area. I will double check that for you tomorrow and get back to you.

he was still there this time last year and has been around for years. get back to you when i have made some enquiries.

Hi if you contact Martin at Central Saab on 0131 667 5979 he does work on my T5 excellent guy and very reasonable. Just say Graham sent you.

Alrigh Del boy. I was nearly right last night. it is actually in Kippen and their name is Reid and Ure Ltd. they are always busy and know their stuff. I will PM you their number and you can give them a call.

Thanks again.

Called Reid and Ure Ltd but they can't do it for a few days and i need to get it done asap as the servicing needs to be done at exact mileage to keep the warrantee.

I will try them next time though, main dealer is waaaaayy tooooo expensive!

A use Central Garage in Johnstone coz there reasonable and always done me a good job, Not an independant though....

60 miles is a bit far to travel for a service from Edinburgh though
