Im thinking of getting a Miltek Exhaust. How do they sound??
Anyone got any video footage or WAV,s etc etc????

They sound wicked mate espec when the boost kicks in as i can testify having been in vikingT5`s V70 with one fitted

Hopefully i`ll be having one fitted fairly soon

Get it done you won`t regret it

Chris C70 has one on his car, and it was the best sounding car at last years rolling road meet at VT, as said by most people there.

I guess my only concern is that it's not too loud and overpowering ? Would you be able to hear it really easily from within the car i wonder ?

Judgeing by the size of the hole in the end it looks like it will be quite with a sporty tone etc around town and off boost.Then on boost will be loud ish inside the car and jet like from the outside due to the tail pipe.Thats only a guess though lol.I doubt it will be overpowering or rude boy at any point in the rev range.Murphy could you email me the clip please.

Hehe, that's EXACTLY what i wouldn't want (but didn't quite no how to put it) - rude boy!

I "upgraded" by exhaust on my old car, and well, i was embarrassed most of the time driving it :o

It's for a Volvo! Volvos aren't chav cars, so we don't sell chav stuff. These exhaust are quiet inside, in fact almost like stock, until you floor it.

This exhaust wont give you that! With companys like miltek and supersprint etc they produce good products that are not extreme on noise and tend to be subtle and well made.But i dont have one lol.
You have to go pretty extreme on these cars to make then really loud.I have one tiny box in the middle of my system with a 3inch DP and race cat and its not what you would call loud just fruity

Adam's right they are quiet inside but floor it and it does sound like a rocket (from the outside) and goes like one if its combined with the rica !!! oh and standing behind one at full chat on the RR will give you the biggest grin you've ever had !! :jaw:

It is a little throatier round town but not a lot and once on full boost it just sounds like a huge rush of air inside the car outside its like a jet not like a car at all!

Totally agree, i was sceptical about it until i took Hamish's judgement and advice, glad i did. Brilliant exhaust a lovely tuned note on full boost and a quiet gentle burble on idle.

Ive been in three miltek cars and they all sound slightly different the 850 is much louder and the v70s are fairly quiet its the best mod to my car i love the sound cant help but floor it at every opertunity!

Exhaust on it's own is £329 inc VAT. Fitting price depends on where you have it fitted I guess.

Personally i think the ferrita exhaust is sweeter i should know as i have one.
