T-5R didn't have a 18t
it had a 15/16g depending on auto or manual.

AWD didn't come in till the V70 to my knowledge
the V70R p1 where 18T and about the right time frame too
Maybe he was referring to the T5 R as opposed to the T-5R which was a specific 850 model.
Best thing to do mate is go speak to kings. Ask their parts guy for an 18T that will fit your 854.

well any ways i need a 18t .... pah.

a 18t is a direct replacement for the 16t...the 19t has a angled flangey wotsit doo dad that means i need a different downpipe = more money.

Yup
But the different downpipe could be wider allow you to expel the exahust gasses more efficiently and thus making sense for your remap :)
Spend the money you know you want to LOL

feel free to budget for my mods mate...cheers for the loan
will give everyone a tinkle this week for prices. i would imagine the turbo would be an exchange..
would the bigger d/p be beneficial? im looking for 300-350 SOLID bhp. im thinking 18t/new exhaust{enginners looked pukka} d/p possibly{depending on the bank of andrew, and a RICA 310 custom map.

You want that sort of BHP - you'll want a new exhaust front to back mate - the quicker you can expel them gasses the better.

Prices change all the time and from supplier to supplier. I'd do some calling around. ~400-500 for turbo, anything 400-800 quid for full exahust system plus your rica remap - 310 ~350quid I think now - custom ~500 plus fitting etc.
Lot of dosh either way. But you have a good solid low mileage engine so she could be a lot of fun when done.
You could be smiling all day long once done.
:)
right bed time for me....

That 50 bhp difference you mention is a HUGE difference in what's required. If you want a solid 330-340 bhp, you will need a 19T, a 3" race-cat downpipe and a custom map minimum!

Big H, If i were you i would get the car to be able to go around corners and stop, I take it you have 280mm brakes? go the 304 15G it will be like a completely new car, the 310 was for the later 16T cars,
Gary,
welcome to the long and winding road of T5 ownership enjoy :)

Not at all mate ... the car should be fine ... just commenting on the amount you might invest in tuning her (which is always hard to recoup) against the length of time you might keep her ... if that makes sense :)
