Nice move and I'm hope your happy with it! As far as advice goes, stick to decent petrol - optimax or tesco 99 (and no other supermarket cack) or BP ultimate, and keep up with the oil changes. As you're taking it to a specialist, get them check your cam belt unless a receipt shows when it was last changed.

Enjoy & there's loads of decent folk on here than solve pretty much any problem you may encounter!

congrats mate normally us estate owners have to suffer lil niggles like boot rattle, which canbe fixed dead easy, also. with all 855/854`s start the engine and remove the dip stick, if you are getting puffs of smoke, it means you are getting back preasure and will have a blocked breather (this will need sorting) check the oil filler cap for signs of Mayo (white guey ££££) if there is then you have prolems.... there may be mayo on the end of the dipstick, not to worry this is normal, if the car has been used on short journeys. check the bottom of the gearbox for leaks, normally rear crank shaft seals are common failure, also turbo oil return pipe seals (the first is an expensive repeair, the second is buttons) there should be a thread on the 850 series on what to look for. also beware of ABS warning lights, the 850 is common for the ecu failing. again not to worry if this happens speak with wobbly dave who will sort it 4 ya, or if you are lucky like moi go to a scrappy and pay 15 quid for one !!! (VERY DAMN LUCKY) good luck, there will be niggles on a high miler, i should know !!! but just work through them, once you had a volvo you will never go back !! i know i wont !
