Quick one, Heico door pins

Just ordered these last night. How does the door pins come off on the s40. Simple Unscrew etc or does the door cards have to come off?

Try unscrewing them first i would have thought they were the same as the s/v70

Yes, they should unscrew anti clockwise. If they're stuck too hard you'll probably need to take the door card off anyway because the metal connector to the lock may pop off when you apply force to unscrew it. Try a bit of chamoix leather around the pin and a set of mole grips to get the old pin undone.

I just fitted mine today, the passenger side was easy as pie, a quick anticlockwise twist and it came off..

The driver side was a bit more tricky and i did indeed need a pair of pliers to help me out, but it soon came off as well and now my pins are all installed!

My first "modification" to my car as well :)
