hi peeps my '5 won't stop pulling to the left.

ive just had it mot'd and the tracking corrected however it still pulls.
the independent specialist i used for the mot recommends to change the tyres surely this wouldnt be to blame would it?????

the all have plenty of tread and dont have any bulges or degormaties?.

any ideas guys??

You say the tracking was corrected, so must have been out. Try swopping the tyres from side to side or put the backs to the front, fronts to the back. Could be with the tracking being out the tyres have worn slightly uneven, also check tyre pressures. As you have had it mot,d assume nothing bent :B_steerin

get a proper four wheel alignment. the rear will be out.

tracking checks are next to useless as so much can be adjusted.

As silly as it may seem....Check your Tyre Pressures..

Could this also cause excess road noise from the front wheels??

Check the wheels/ tyres are on the right way round. Most tyres are "Rotation" type and have an arrow which point the ways the tyre should rotate. If you swap the front around, they'll be going the wrong way :slap:

How is the tread looking accross the tyre ie is the inside worn more than the outside or visa versa? Classic sign of bad wheel geometry.

As already mentioned try swapping wheels and check tyre rotation and pressure then if it's still not right get a 4 wheel alignment done.

only if they are in the wrong direction

one question
when u say it pulls to the left
are you talking under hard acceleration and then it goes

or is it like a wheel wobble

have u a strut brace fitted

are we over looking torque steer here ????

its not torque steer. when i travel 45-50 mph and above the car pulls dramatically

sounds rather worrying that
think i agree with the others first point of call is a good 4 wheel alignment...
and have all the linkages checked for wear
