can anyone tell me what the difference is between motorcycle oils and car oils...

obviously m/cycles rev alot higher I guess the weights etc are done in the same way ....do m/cycle oils give better protection due to the more extreme engine conditions ??

was just a thought im no oil expert but do have trade accounts with oil suppliers for m/cycles

was wondering if it was worth putting m/cycle oil in if it is not going to damage but better protect

In general motorcycle oils can be used in cars but not the other way around.

Motorcycle oils contain different addatives for wet clutches to prevent them slipping, these addatives will make no difference to a car engine though.
