do I hold out for an 850 T5??

Halloo!

Been scouting around the North-East for an 850 T5 Saloon, but had no joy as yet and I'm getting antsy cos my Punto WILL be gone this weekend - I've managed to find a S70 T5 CD with about 100K on the clock (dealer wasn't 100% certain over the phone). FSH/Full leather interior/Alloys etc. Sticker price £2800.

I'm gonna take a look at it tomorrow, but would value any feedback - is this (at least on paper) a worthy steed to put my cash on?

850 for me, but it is personal preference. The S series are good cars and certainly more modern looking inside and out.

I would go for the S70.
I have a S70 T5 CD and its a great car, glad i got it and not a 850.
Lots of people like the 850 but at the end of the day its up to you.
They are both great cars.....................JUST THAT THE S70 IS BETTER. LOL :lol:

S70 is refined, controlled and more ladylike (sorry the only word I can think of to describe it lol) the 850 is raw aggression in box, slightly dated interior but still with all the mod cons!!

On a serious note though Rob i'm assuming as you were interested in mine the amount of cash you'd like to spend is £1500ish?

If so it WILL be 850 territory which isn't a bad thing. I've had both and the one which was the most fun standard was deffo the 850 as it was very aggressive and sounded amazing!
