ok, i havent got one yet, but in viewing one at the weekend:).
i used to have rover turbo's, and to get good power i had to upgrade the internal's, something that doesnt seem to crop up on this site to often.
What are the standard internals good for power wise?
Also, what's deemed as a safe limit for boost without adjusting fueling etc?
Where is the stock intercooler located?
how easy/expensive is it to get to my goal off 300hp?
last but not least,
what involved in getting a T5 rica'd? is it just mapping?
obviously im new here, just gathering info..
my love of all thing;s rover has ended, i need 5cyl baby lol :)
cheer's in advance

If its an 850 internals are good for around the 350bhp mark.
10-12psi is consdiered "safe" with a MBC (if used with care)
If the car is in really good condition and hasn't been too badly abused then 2k should see 290bph + or £340 should see *up to* 300bhp. You'll need to do a stage 0 tune before you start with the modifications tho
Rica is a simple process of taking your car to VT (or one of their outlets) having a few cups of tea and waiting for Adam to do his magic on your ecu! Yes its just mapping
5 cylinders is the only way to go ;) Good luck with the viewing this weekend, what spec are you going to see? Keep us updated!
