Popping out of gear

Right the only flaw with my beloved car is that it pops out of second gear when decelerating.

Does it every time

Only way to stop it is to dip the clutch, or hold the gearstick.......

Its not getting any worse, and there are no other gremlins......

Any ideas on a cure?

i'm staying quiet........"cough"Gearbox re-build"cough" I'd say the Selector shaft has buggered...only guessing as usual...!!!

thing is its no major problem,

all the other gears are spot on..............

dont really want to dig around and brake it further!!

selector fork or shaft most likely, it wears when people drive around holding the gearstick cos it goes against the 'natural' movement under accelleration/decelleration.
