Wheel Polishing...?

Hi all, Has anyone thought about getting their Alloy Wheels Polished...!

By that i mean.... Get the Wheels striped of all Paint etc and then get the bare alloy Polished instead of being re-painted...!

Would you have to have them done in a coat of Lacquer to protect them.?

I think the Comets would be quite easy to do, as theres not really alot to um.

Any Ideas.....!

you do have to have them lacquered or the finish wont last five minutes but I would have thought any wheel refurb shop worth their salt would just do that as part of the job.

considering having the tritons done, maybe painted silver in the middle and polish the rims....
