not a big deal, but i have allways wondered why the site has grouped the volvo models tech forums on here by body style, instead of model type.

so instead of grouping S40, S60, S70, S80, S90; and then V40, V50, V70; etc

it would make more sense if it was grouped by model, so

200 / 300 / 400 / 700 / 900 (not much call for but you never now)

S40 / V40 / V50

850 / C70 / S70 / V70 -2000.

S60 / V70 2000- / S80 / XC70 / XC90

thats my idea anyway, seems a better way to group technical advice to me, as the same model types are listed together, not randomally shared with other saloons, or estates.

Would make sense to me, owning an 850 i regularly have to trawl through the V pages for info and lots of parts are shared.

yeah the way i saw it was that it could save people trawling.

in simple form (for anyone who cant be bothered reading my first post above) i am thinking if you have a V40, it is better if all the V40 tech threads are grouped with the S40 threads, as they share almost everything in common with them, not as it is now, where they are shared with the V70's which have nothing in common between them.

anyway, its just a suggestion, for what its worth :)
