No i didn't use any polish....just wire brushes on a drill (4-5hours work)..... I think the camera lies slightly on how shiny the thing is....

No i won't be mirror polishing it......can't be bothered.... don't think I'll be challenging T5art for his service...

.......as for the repairs.....
I've had my blue bits back,(See Powder coating thread (http://www.vpcuk.org/forums/showthread.php?t=7387&page=2) )

but I'm still awaiting my lightened flywheel.... My original one had hairline cracks so another one is being done now....

Yep i think you've got more patience than me......(although I have been looking at MOPS kits on Ebay......???)

Also if I mirror polish it I'm then commited to keeping the thing clean.... :frown:

once polished it stays cleaner naturally as the muck slides off

but you can get specialist protectors

i use autoglym resin polish works as well as anything else
