Not sure if anyone here would be interested but it needs to go to make space for a rally car and to give me a few £'s to go towards a nice V70 T5!
Celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Peugeot 205 Cti in style!

This is one of the best 205 Cti's I have seen and has been very well looked after its entire life. The only previous owner kept it garaged all its life, as have I since owning it.
It is currently on 58k miles, 1900cc, PAS, electric hood, 1993 model, 1.6 wheels (as Cti's should have), beam in good condition and no known problems. MOT till April, currently SORN.
In more detail:
First registered in 1993, this is one of the very last of the 205 convertibles. It has the phase 2.5 interior - grey carpet with red steering wheel trim and white gear knob digits.
It was purchased from Walchry Motors in Surrey on 30/03/1993, and maintained by Ian Allen Peugeot in Surrey until I purchased the car. The first owner kept the car until 05/12/2004 when she passed it on to her daughter. It was then sold onto me earlier this year.
This car was stored from new in the owners garage without fail, which has resulted in the paint being in amazing condition. When parked next to other "red" cars of similar age it looks fantastic.
This car has never been smoked in - the ashtray and lighter are unused. The flip up coin tray works perfectly, as does the glovebox.
The recently replaces electric hood works fine, and unlike many Cti's the roof doesn't leak at all. The tonneau cover comes with the car and is in very good condition.
Exhaust looks to be recent, spare wheel is there with original unused tyre and has an original Peugeot metal anti-theft guard.
The engine bay is in very good condition and I have yet to find a single patch of rust on the car.
The rear beam appears in good working order with no excessive camber and no seizing
Tyres on the rear have good amount of tread left and I was told the fronts were changed early this year
In recent history, the car had had the following work carried out: Brake discs and pads 22/04/2005 Brand new mohair hood and rear window 27/09/2003 Sigma cat 1 alarm and immobiliser 06/04/2005 Kenwood CD player head unit 06/04/2004
This car is not entirely perfect and the two front seat side bolsters have collapsed slightly. There are also a few stone chips on the front of the car.

There is a very genuine reason for this unfortunate sale:
Due to a car accident some time ago I just cannot get comfortable with the 205 driving position and it causes my hip to spasm! Unlike most other Cti's, this is a genuinely good example. It is very very rare to find them in this condition hence the price.
